Back in stock. The essential dubstep educational series from scene leaders Tempa continues with it's deepest installment to date courtesy of in-house A+R man, Skull Disco co-owner and righteous DJ, Appleblim. I'll admit to a proper flurry of excitement when I heard that Appleblim was at the controls for this mix, knowing that the man has impeccable taste and an ear for the finest basswise sounds usually on the periphery of the dubstep contigents aural scope. Drawing for the good stuff from the off he lines up an exclusive from Peverelist 'Gather' with their collaborative effort 'Circling' to sink us deep into the groove, before splicing in Pinch's wickedly woozy 'Get Up' and continuing to draw a focussed dub tech line through selections from 2562, Martyn, Jus Wan, TRG, Skream, RSD, Komanazmuk, Gatekeeper, Ramadanman and Geiom. This is exactly the mix we've been waiting for someone to drop, and it couldn't have come from a better set of skilled hands and ears any closer to the plate. Baaaad!!!
