The second instalment in ATP Recordings' Custom Made series of releases comes from label regular Alexander Tucker, who offers up something old, something new, something borrowed, and indeed, something blue. The 'old' side comes from a re-recording of 'Phantom Rings' from the Old Fog album, while a preview of new LP Portal comes from 'Veins TO The Sky' a splendid avant-folk workout made up from jumpy acoustic guitar plucks, heavily bowed violins and organ drone. The second seven-inch kicks off with an excellent cover of Fursaxa's 'Rodeo In The Sky', before a rough 8-track recording of 'Florence Blue' brings this lavish EP to a nervy, droning finish. Ace.
