Freunde Am Tanzen join the rush to pump out some credibly deeper house music with this latest effort from Mathias Kaden. Edging away from their glitchier and screwy output of recent years, the 'Lucidas' ep features Mr Kaden in top tribal tech house form, wriggling out snaking percussion and conga rolls on 'swahili', before moving into a dubby blue techno vibe on 'lucidas', continuing the live percussive feel throughout. 'Saloee' on the b-side is the most interesting cut here, working up a mean percussive groove, accentuated and swung by some beautifully phased samples, giving the whole track a nicely off kilter groove.
