Taking liberal cues from Marissa Nadler's gothic falsetto, Josephine Foster's madwoman in the attic routine and Joanna Newsom's squeaky larynx, the emphasis here is on costume-based woodland frolicking which fans of the above will adore . There's a video included on the disc, shot to accompany the song 'Love Delight Us' - otherwise one of the least frivolous songs here - that features Hepzibah and her forest-dwelling, live-action-role-playing-society mates sitting about in full Dungeons & Dragons regalia holding onto their zithers for dear life. There are flashes of real talent smattered across this release, which comes to us in extremely limited supply (the distributor has 10) so act fast if you want a copy...
