Back in stock! *Features Loefah Remix* So limited it will be gone quicker than Billy Whizz, The Bug's new 12" 'Jah War' is likely to become the thing of eBay folklore - coming wrapped in some lilo-scented red PVC and containing a batch of oven-hot ragga so damn raw it'll burn your cheeks. With an umbilical cord stretching from the caustic rhymes of ragga through to Grime's buck-shot personality, it's little wonder that the two genres clash so pleasingly; as Flowdan's dancehall bleached vocals batter The Bug's ruffneck backing to perfection. Like an air-raid siren marking the opening of a sonic conflict, 'Jah War' is a tsunami of sound that doesn't pause for breath - leading to twelve inches of vinyl that are blistered by booming bass, ratchet beats and raw, unbridled atmospherics. As if the cup wasn't overflowing enough, the back of the plate is handed over to the capable charge of DMZ type Loefah - here breaching the levies with some slow-motion dubstep lurch that gets melodious at the top end and utterly debased down below. Infestation!
