*Back In Stock* Gulp, we're into December and I've finally stumbled across my single of the year! Okay okay, so I got a little hot under the collar about 'Ready to Uff' - but I'm happy to say 'Hot Chick' is even better, even if it sticks to well, a similar formula let's say. Oh yeah, and the production can't hurt either - the A side has French analogue demon Mr. Oizo turning in one of his absolute best tracks. This is a real club banger with bubbling basslines and that unique stutter that only the Oizo man can appear to master. As if this wasn't enough, flip over for a faux-gangster turn from Uffie's current beau Feadz (who also owns the Ed Banger label); this tune is something like Snoop Dogg if he grew up with weblogs and youtube rather than gin 'n juice, as sung by a young chick who struggles slightly with English. It's so strange, and so vaguely annoying that it is utterly genius and only confirms my undying love for Uffie...
