THIS IS THE KIT - Two Wooden Spoons, SUNDAY BEST

This funny little 7” from London’s Rob Da Bank-affiliated Sunday Best label is from a young lady called Kate Stables. She seems to like the old folk music, you know Vashti Bunyan, Bob Dylan that kinda stuff, and luckily it’s in vogue at the moment so I’m sure the world will lap this one up. She does it well too, lightly picking at the banjo and enlisting her twin sister (ooh) to help her on the vocals, it’s all a pleasant trip down cobbled streets to a farm, probably with sheep and ducks. Rural life never sounded so sweet.
