Daníel Ágúst, President Bongo and Veiran aka Gus Gus return with a shiny new LP for Kompakt displaying a sleek strain of euphoric techno soul. Now on Europe's most sophisticated dance imprint, the group have refined their look with a collection of six extended tracks ranging from 8 to 12 minutes in length. Opener 'Thin Ice' is all spacious luxuriance, indulging in glassy minimalist rhythms and snow-drift vocals, while 'Hateful' contains suspect lyrics set to the sort of restrained euphoria that Michael Mayer would spin out to big crowds. The albums shortest track also happens to be it's most successful, hooking up with Jimi Tenor on 'Take Me Baby' for a jet-black re-make of the classic electrosex track which bleeds into an longer acid version 'Bremen Cowboy' and the final Euro-trance pop-epic 'Add This Song'.
