More fantastically skewed psych business from the master of the genre Jan Anderzén aka Kemialliset Ystävät. The man is multi-talented, I’ll give him that – not only does he lovingly forge the music on these cds, he is also a visual artist with works adorning the covers of his many releases. Good stuff Mr Anderzén, and with music this good I’m not even going to make any quips about books/covers etc. Alkuhärkä was released in 2004 to much acclaim throughout the scene and was in a period where Fonal was growing immensely. He was even thought highly enough of in the worldwide scene to provide a coveted set at Spanish music festival Sonar, where he proceeded to amaze with his spiritual jams moulding together tribal percussion and distorted instrument-torturing sounds...
