Notts based DJ/production duo Brackles and Shortstuff initiate Pollen Records with a raw dubstep/garage DJ tool backed with a Geiomix. Brackles and Shortstuff previously appeared opposite each other on a Berkane Sol split 12" late last year, they've piled intogether on this one with 'Broken Harp' centred around a classy sample of said instrument edited to shape over a quickstepping riddim drawing inspiration from their collective love of older grime, garage and 2-step. Kamal Joory steps in with his Geiomix on the flip, adding more space between the beats to transofrm it into a swinging halfstepper with crisp percussion. Ace 12" for fans of Oneman, Pangaea, Synkro etc.
