Any fiercer and it could strip paint, this apocalyptic blast of Raggacore sees The Bug and Rootsman joining force as Razor X Productions - with the resultant scorched earth as addictive as it is savage. Adopting an approach that sees more Amens than a Sunday morning, tracks like 'Killer (feat. He-Man) and and 'Killer Queen (feat. Warrior Queen)' are brutal enemas of aural polemic; with sirens, calamitous build-ups and larynx-shredding vocals all sandblasted into a crucible of sound. Like the heavier tracts of The Bug's own 'Pressure', 'Killing Sound' is relentless throughout - pausing only for the occasional break-down where the vocals are left adrift, instilling them with even more tacit efficacy than you'd think humanly possible. Backed up by all manner of stellar collaborators (Mexican, El Feco, Daddy Freddy, Cutty Ranks, He-Man, Warrior Queen, Tony Tuff, Bongo Chilli and Ras B), 'Killing Sound' has ditched the Rhythm & Sound-ish elements which populated 'Pressure' and instead gone for a noise-f*cked approach that works a treat. Further enhanced by a truck-load of alternate versions, 'Killing Sound' is, er, killer!
