Grounded through a phenomenal understanding of what constitutes jacked-electro goodness, 'My Cyborg Depths' is fifty-four minutes of chrome plated beats and soaring 'Blade Runner'-vistas that alternate effortlessly between poignant interludes of digital solipsism (the gorgeous 'Dream Deception') and ricocheting blasts of silicon tourettes ('Remorse Attack'). Sharing the ability of Yasuijro Ozu to distil large quantities of material down into digestible nuggets, not once do you feel overwhelmed despite the sheer scale and wide-screen nature of the music on show. Particular highlights include the dice+slice job done on Richard Burton's 'War of The Worlds' narration for 'Syndrome', the Tejada-style electro-flutter of 'Form Function', and the overt pathos of album closer 'Finally'.
