back in stock. 6 tracks gorgeous and varied tracks from Piano magic, Alan of low makes a guest vocal appearance on the title track and another track, which also features ben ayres of cornershop on the tamboura. Late 60's/early 70's folk heroine, Vashti Bunyan, also returns to the band - she famously sang on the band's previous "writers without homes" album - her first recording in 30 years. Vashti sings on "dark ages" and joins alan on "wrong turn." The "Saint Marie EP" was recorded over 3 days during autumn 2003 in london by band members Glen Johnson, jerome Tcherneyan, Franck Alba, Alasdair Steer and James Topham. Recommended.
