Hotly tipped rave smashers from Drums of Death for Joe Goddard's (Hot Chip) Greco Roman imprint, moving from strength to strength after last months blazing Buraka Som Sistema plate. 'Breathe' is up for the ruck first, a slightly unlikely but highly effective combo of dub chord stabs and scuzzy broken electro, sounding like a combination of Radio Slaves 'Tantakatan' with some Modeselektor offcuts for good measure. The Drop The Lime remix retains the dub chords but replaces the ruff riddim with a dutty Street-Bassline workout, leaving two proper dancefloor wigouts for the B-side. 'Cursed by magic' is a crafty electro floor worker, while 'Midnight Stalker' is a guaranteed bomb track with a techno rave intro subsiding into what the kids call 'FILTHY' electro house that couldn't fail to raise the roof wherever it's dropped. Big 12"!!!!
