Back in stock! The fertile Berlin/Bristol connection continues to deliver the goods with this wicked set of remixes from Pole and Peverelist for the ~Scape imprint. Following on neatly from their well received remixes of his 'Steingarten' LP, Peverelist takes a defined techno tack on his remix of Shackleton's 'You Bring me down' from Skull 06, filling in the gaps in the original's swung percussive flex with a driving uptempo motion, locking down the 138bpm thing like it's his own. Pole's remix of 'Shortwave' from this week's Skull Disco plate brings a rarely heard (in dubstep) micro edit element with seriously well processed found sounds and musique concrete arranged as top end rhythms over a strong dubstep base, bringing together the ultra heavy bass weight quality of UK dubstep with precise German engineering. Make sure you check out the Peverelist mix, it's sick.
