BPitch roll on a more refined minimalist tip with the latest release from Chaim following from a fine Kiki record. The Israeli native has provided big dancefloor tracks for a list of label including MBF and Tiga's Turbo in the past, to arrive at BPitch with three tracks of trained tech house grooves. 'Thrill You' mixes Middle-Eastern string motifs with laidback rhythms before 'Danceable' perks up with proggy-rhythmic developments and 'We Do' digs... "Chaim from Tel Aviv presents his second twelve for Bpitch Control. Minimal but very effective sounds complete with a solid kickdrum, a vibrating bassline and echo effects that work a treat. "Chicken Kiev" on the flip unfolds with excellent drum programming surrounded by a groove that goes from your ears down to your feet, and finally escalates with full speed. Maximum pressure and definitely a real dancefloor killer."

New to the Bpitch fold, Chaim has previously released on labels like My Best Friend, and in so doing must have caught Ellen Allien's ear. Both 'Moon' and 'Wednesday June' feature a pronounced sense of melodic development but never bottle out in terms of a depth and fullness of production, maintaining all the right dancefloor credentials whilst carving out layers of synth hooks. 'Wednesday June' in particular would probably sit somewhere next to P... READ MORE ABOUT: CHAIM, Moon, Bpitch Control ![]()

Tel Aviv's Chaim is a veteran of such labels as Hi Freaks, Supplements Facts, Missive, Giant Wheel and EQ Recordings, although here breaks form from his production style in favour of marginally more minimal wares. 'Carolin' all hinges around a delayed stab sequence with a screeching lead hook that'll stick in the memory banks for a while, whilst the B-side ventures into more funky terrain via 'Same Same' and electrohouse stomper 'De Move
